Energy recovery from waste involves converting non-recyclable waste materials into usable heat, electricity, or fuel through processes such as combustion, gasification, pyrolysis, anaerobic digestion, and landfill gas recovery. This process is commonly known as waste-to-energy.

The sources of solid waste include residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial activities like food waste and garbage. Agricultural waste sources include rice straw, wheat straw, and crop trash.

Burning waste destroys the organic matter that makes soil fertile, decreasing crop yields over time and increasing the need for costly fertilizers. Valuable substances in agricultural waste are converted into CO₂, smog, particulate matter, and ash.

We offer an innovative solution using Thöni Paddle Agitator-Based Continuously Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) technology to handle high-solid substrates, achieving twin objectives: high biogas yield at lower operating costs. The solution incorporates a slow-mixing paddle agitator-driven CSTR digester, a feeding system, a media-type H₂S scrubber, a membrane- based CO₂ removal system for biogas purification, and a centrifuge for sludge management. Compared to traditional approaches, the agitator and feeding system deliver higher biogas yield with lower water and electricity consumption. The system has a 20-year life cycle with no need for replacement.
