Raju Shukla​

Founder and Chairman​

Co-Founder and Former CEO of Cleantech Solar, the largest solar C&I platform in India and Southeast Asia.​

Built the business organically to c. USD 500 million over a period of 6 years and sold a consortium of Keppel Corporation and Keppel Asia Infrastructure Fund (Singapore).​

Prior to establishing Cleantech, Raju had over 22 years of experience in financial services in Asia and was the Managing Director & Country Head of Barclays Capital India from 2007 to 2012.​

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Visvesvaraya Regional College and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.​

20+ years of experience in financial services and risk management with marquee global financial institutions.​

Holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a PhD in Chemistry from University of Cambridge.​

Former VP (Finance & Operations) of Cleantech Solar.​

Established Cleantech’s renewables business in India, by developing, and financing 700+ MW of renewable assets for marquee corporates. Raised $500m+ equity and debt financing from strategic & financial investors.​

15+ years of experience across renewable energy, private equity, and investment banking. Previously worked in Ocean Dial and Avendus Capital. ​

Holds an engineering degree from Mumbai University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Lucknow, and passed Level 3 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).​

Advisor and former executive director (Petrochemicals, Alternate Energy and Sustainable Development) at Indian Oil Corporation. ​

Under his executive leadership in the field of clean energy & sustainable development, Indian Oil has gained recognition as market leader in green Initiatives like retail outlet solarisation, Compressed Biogas, Biodiesel and Ethanol Blending, rain-water harvesting.​

He has been a part of various industry forums and government committees and has extensive experience in alternate energy & sustainable development, biofuels, biogas, plastic neutrality, waste management. ​

Holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT BHU and MBA in Marketing from MDI Gurgaon.​

Dr Ramesh Daryapurkar​

Chairman (India)​

Headed Lars Enviro since inception and steered overall operations including planning, strategy and business development. ​

Oversaw 550+ projects globally from concept to commissioning at Lars. ​

Over 36 years of experience and one of the few experts in India & SEA who is credited with designing and commissioning 350+ waste to energy systems. ​

Recipient of awards from world CSR congress and Aqua foundation. ​

Masters in Environmental Engineering and PhD in biogas generating anaerobic technologies.​

Kishor Dobariya​

Group Chief Technology Officer​

36+ years of international experience in industrial and municipal water treatment, WWRP, desalination projects etc including conventional, membrane based and advanced technologies.​

Prior to joining CEW, Kishor has worked with HYFLUX – Singapore, Ion Exchange and has a hands-on exposure of working in projects across regions including India, Southeast Asia, China, Middle East, Africa, Mexico and Caribbean. ​

He has been instrumental in design, implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting projects both in industrial and municipal, on Tech pack, EPC and BOOT basis. ​

Holds patent in VSP desalination design.​

Chief Financial Officer​

14+ years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, and strategy with a focus on energy and environment sectors. ​

Prior to joining CleanEdge, he worked as Vice President – Corporate Finance and Strategy at Cleantech Solar in Singapore, where he executed multiple debt and equity funding transactions with reputed financial institutions and strategic investors. ​

He has spent almost a decade with J.P. Morgan as part of the Energy Investment Banking team and has executed multiple marquee M&A and capital raising transactions. ​

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engg from Mumbai Univ. and a Master’s degree in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.​

Sanjay Gangamwar​

Head of Operations​

30+ years of invaluable expertise in the design and execution of diverse environmental engineering and infrastructure projects. ​

Managed over 700 projects, encompassing rural water supply schemes, road construction and buildings; with a wide array of technologies and capacities of upto 20 MLD.​

Leads Project Management at CleanEdge, his proficiency extends to all facets of project management, from meticulous planning and procurement to leading seamless execution and compliance with stringent quality control and site safety standards. ​

Civil Engineering degree from Institute of Engineers of India.​

Co-Head of Business Development​

28+ years of dedicated experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry. ​

Has a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in design, commissioning, and the entire spectrum of water and wastewater treatment processes. ​

His expertise spans across various technologies including Anaerobic, Aerobic, and Wastewater recycling, offering comprehensive solutions to diverse challenges. ​

Responsible for developing key growth strategies, tactics, and action plans for both domestic and international clients at CleanEdge. ​

Graduate in Civil Engineering & Post-Graduate in Environmental Engineering from VRCE (NIT), Nagpur.​

Harshal Kalamkar​

Co-Head of Business Development​

20+ Years of experience in sustainability space, with focus on renewable energy, waste to energy, water treatment, and circular economy projects. ​

At CleanEdge, he is responsible for strategic tie-ups, growth of wastewater and waste to energy business, both in CAPEX and BOOT models. ​

Prior to joining CleanEdge, Harshal was Co-Head of BD at Cleantech Solar, where he collaborated with more than 50 large MNCs, helping them in their sustainability goals by providing solutions valuing over INR 2000 Cr. ​

Before Cleantech, Harshal was a serial entrepreneur in the sustainability space. ​

Holds and MBA from IIM – K and B.E. from Pune University.​

Country Head - Malaysia​

25+ Years of experience in water, ultrapure water, wastewater treatment and wastewater recycling as well as resource recovery from industrial, chemical, waste oil and waste solvent. ​

Has expertise in R&D, piloting system integration, commercialization, business development and start up in waste recovery, water treatment and wastewater treatment technology. ​

At CleanEdge, he is responsible for overall business development and operation of Malaysia. ​

Holds a patent in residue oil recovery from Palm Oil Mill Effluent. ​

Graduate in Biochemical Engineering and Master in Environmental Engineering.​

17+ Years of experience in Solid & Wastewater management, Integrated Facility Management & MEP, Renewal Energy, Pilot Projects, EPC & BOOT projects execution. ​

Former Director Operation & International Business Development with Al Ramooz Veolia LLC, Kaefer-Germany, Oman International Group S.A.O.C, having versatile experience in Solid & Liquid Waste Management, recycling & recovery solutions in Oman, Qatar, U.A.E & Saudi Arab.​

At CleanEdge, he is responsible for overall business development and operations of Middle East and Africa.​
